If you work from home, or even just use a desk at home once in a while, you know the right lighting is essential to getting your work done and checking tasks off that to-do list.
The American Lighting Association suggests these tips for proper office lighting:
- Keep general lighting at a medium-brightness level so you can see what you’re doing without being bothered by glare.
- Bring in additional task lighting for paperwork. This can be in the form of floor lamps, table lamps or hanging pendants over your work station.
- You can accent framed certificates, degrees and artwork with picture lights.
