Pantone’s Latest Color of the Year
As a luxury home design store, Klaff’s keeps up with the latest news and trends in the industry, and one big headline lately is Pantone’s recently announced Color of the Year for 2012. And the special color is… Tangerine Tango.
Pantone’s executive director said this about next year’s Color of the Year in a press release:
“Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.”
This orange hue is not for the faint of heart, but it can definitely be used well in interior design. Even if you don’t want to take Tangerine Tango paint to the walls, it can be a fun burst of color here and there. Just look at how orange accents bring this white kitchen to life:
What do you think of Tangerine Tango? Will you incorporate it into your home design?
