You may remember that a couple weeks ago we told you about ways to organize your bathroom. Well, now we want to take a broader look at ways to best use the space in a bath. Since these are generally the smallest rooms in a house, it’s easy to feel a bit cramped. But we found some great tips over at design site Freshome for how to get the most out of your bathroom space. Check out these ideas:
Install a glass shower, which doesn’t hold much visual weight and could look like an extension of the room.- A monochromatic color scheme incorporating various shades of one color can make the space look bigger.
- Use vertical space for adding extra shelving, and then stash toiletries in pretty bins and baskets.
- Larger floor tile can also make your eyes think you’re looking at a larger space.
